Flying Diamond is a fifth-generation, commercial cattle operation that manages 250k+ acres, primarily in Eastern Colorado. The ranch employs holistic management and planned grazing to optimize operations. Flying Diamond runs ~5k bred cows and retains calves as yearlings. Position Overview The Tee Cross Assistant Ranch Manager will work under the Colorado Springs Division Manager to operate a cow/calf and yearling operation on the 40k acre Tee Cross Ranch. The Ranch Manager will help execute the Division Manager's plan for Tee Cross Ranch. This includes daily cattle & water checks, infrastructure maintenance and repair, equipment maintenance, cattle feeding and health monitoring, and all other facets of daily ranching. This is a full-time, hands-on role in ranch operations. Key Responsibilities -Cattle care: ensure every animal has constant access to water, is in the correct pasture, is provided required feed/mineral/salt, and maintains good health and body condition -Infrastructure upkeep: maintain and repair all fences, corrals, water infrastructure, and ranch buildings. -Cattle Processing Days: Assist the division manager to execute cattle processing days, ensuring efficient handling, health checks, and record-keeping. Qualifications - Experience: Proven experience working on scaled cattle operations. -Skills: Experienced in cattle handling, fencing and water infrastructure, equipment maintenance. - Attributes: Excel in FD's core values of Striving, Accountability, Fundamentals, and Excellence. -Hard-working, reliable, and teachable. - Location: Tee Cross Ranch (10 miles south of Ellicott, CO) Applications Due by November 15th, 2026 Compensation and Benefits Salary: $35,000-$45,000 depending on experience.
