Hay for sale Colorado Correctional Industries Canon City, Co Bid dates start Oct 20, 2025 and close October 30, 2025 all bids are to be in by 4:00 pm on closing day. The Colorado Department of Corrections, Division of Correctional Industries has approximately 25 ton of Oat/hay, 25-ton sorghum/hay, 40 ton of horse quality grass hay, 250 ton of quality alfalfa/grass mix, 40 ton of 2nd cut alfalfa, 40 ton 3rd cut alfalfa, 130 ton of oat/pea hay. All 3x4 bales and stored inside. We also have approximately 125 tons of grinder hay, mostly broken bales, alfalfa, sorghum and triticale. Please make an appointment to come and see grinder hay before bidding. CCi is accepting bids from any party that is interested in purchasing. The hay being sold is located in Canon City, CO and will need to be picked up at this location and loaded on trailers. The awarded bidder(s) must provide trailers or arrange a way of pick up. Pick up will need to be done by appointment from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm any day of the week. Anyone coming on CDOC grounds will need to pass a background check and fill out a consent to search form.
