Hay for sale Colorado Correctional Industries Canon City, Co Bid dates start January 19, 2026 and close February 2, 2026 all bids are to be in by 4:00 pm on closing day. The Colorado Department of Corrections, Division of Correctional Industries has approximately 500 ton of alfalfa-alfalfa/grass mix, 130 ton of damaged alfalfa, 150 ton of grass mix from 2023, 40 ton of quality grass, 50 ton of quality mix hay, 40 ton of sun bleached grass hay and 20 ton of low test alfalfa from 2023. All bales are 3x4 in size and stored in a barn unless specified as damaged. CCi is accepting bids from any party that is interested in purchasing. The hay being sold is located in Canon City, CO and will need to be picked up at such location and loaded on trailers. The awarded bidder(s) must provide trailers or arrange a way of pick up. Pick up will need to be done by appointment from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm any day of the week. Anyone coming on CDOC grounds will need to pass a background check and fill out a consent to search form.
