Bid dates start July 27, 2026 and close August 12, 2026 all bids are to be in by 4:00 pm MST on closing day. The Colorado Department of Corrections, Division of Correctional Industries has approximately 100 tons of grass hay, 120 tons of quality Alfalfa/Grass mix hay, 70 tons of alfalfa hay and 15 tons of triticale hay all 2026 first cutting. Approximately 125 tons of second cut alfalfa (2026). All bales are 3x4 in size and barn stored, CCi is accepting bids from any party that is interested in purchasing. The hay being sold is located in Canon City, CO and will need to be picked up at such location and loaded on trailers. The awarded bidder(s) must provide trailers or arrange a way for pick up. Pick up will need to be done by appointment only from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm any day of the week.
